Wee Tiong yearly sales turnover averaged between S$150 to S$300 million for the past decade, sourcing from key agricultural producers from Thailand, Vietnam, India, Brazil, Myanmar etc. Our buyers reside in countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and several parts in Middle East.

The volume of rice, sugar among other commodities being handled by Wee Tiong yearly averaged about half a million metric tons by a team of dedicated professionals, each handling different parts of the trading process, like shipping, hedging, customer service etc.

 1)      The Refined Sugar Association Membership

The Refined Sugar Association was founded on 8th January 1891 for the purpose of establishing the Rules and Regulations required for the proper conduct of the white sugar trade in the United Kingdom and international markets.
 

We are one of the elite sugar traders to be recognized by the REFINED SUGAR ASSOCIATION (RSA) in London and currently one of the few companies in Singapore which has been awarded this prestigious membership. All members must possess a decade long of experience in sugar trading, as well as maintaining a certain sales turnover in sugar trading.

 2)      Global Trader Programme

 Wee Tiong has been incepted into the list since 2003 till date. This award testifies to a company which has to register consistent growth of sales turnover every year with USD 100million being the base target since inception

3)      Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce

Established in 1906, the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) is an internationally renowned business organization and the apex body of the Chinese business community in Singapore.

Wee Tiong is proud to be a member of this renowned business organization which has a membership network of about 131 trade associations and 4,000 corporate entities including large financial and business organizations, multinational corporations, government-linked companies, small and medium enterprises from a wide spectrum of trades and industries.

4)      Enterprise 50

 Wee Tiong has won the award for 4 consecutive years, from 2005-2008. This is an award jointly organised by International Enterprise Singapore and Accenture and Business Times to recognise the top 50 private held companies for their vision, success and entrepreneurship. We are even prouder to announce that we have been in the top 10 for 2 years.
